Our Approach has evolved since its conception in 2008 and is the unique process we use to deliver hybrid working and office relocation programmes to councils and public sector organisations.
It has a clear focus on people, change management and transformation and brings a clear purpose - to gain insight into team requirements and then design and create the workspace around their needs.

How does it work?
Existing Status
We use management data, the strategic future vision, and a period of engagement with staff to create a comprehensive picture of the current status of the organisation and capture future requirements
Principles
We create, discuss, and agree a set of project principles and guidelines to clearly set out how the council or organisation will operate and work in the future. These typically include
• new working patterns for all staff
• a set of future layout and design principles
• storage principles and categories
Future Layout Drawing
We combine the existing status information and captured requirements from engagement along with the principles to produce a future office layout drawing
Project Cost
Our Project Manager, space planner and quantity surveyor work closely to produce overall indicative costs to deliver the project
Project schedule
Our Project Manager creates a high-level programme and timeline to deliver the project
What are the deliverables?
The outcome of our Approach is a clear deliverable for our client: your Future Workplace Report.
This typically includes:
• Accurate & up-to-date workforce & operational info
• Clearly defined future vision, principles & working patterns
• Future office layout drawings
• Total square footage required, reduction in space and areas freed up
• Timescales to deliver the project
• Costs to deliver project
Your Future Workplace Report forms the basis of an Outline Business Case for the project.
